Maximum Safety

The standard certification for crash helmets used in the European Union is the ECE 22.05. Grand Prix helmets are fully ECE 22.05 certified helmets, visors and peaks included. Accordingly, Grand Prix helmets are marked and labelled as per ECE requirements and come with detailled instructions regarding use and maintenance in English, French German, Italian, Spanish.

With Grand Prix helmets you can rest assured that the crash helmets you are selling are legal and safe. Although primiraly divised for the European Union countries the ECE 22.05 standard is accepted in over 50 countries an dthe most commonly used standard internationally. Non E.U. dealers are advised to check wether ECE 22.05 is officially used in their country prior to ordering.

Advanced Shells

All Grand Prix helmets are build upon the most advanced light-weight Prepreg fiberglass shells. Prepreg fiberglass provides much higher shock resistance/lighter weight than ABS/plastics. Fiberglass is also more reliably processed than carbon hence providing the highest safety/price ratio.

Two different shell sizes are used for smaller and larger sizes in order to provide the slimmest shape as possible while strictly complying with the stringent ECE safety standards.

Ultra-light high density EPS

The pads are made of expanded polystyrene foam (or EPS). This is the another critical part of the helmet with the shell, as EPS absorbs the impact in an accident. The more impact that can be absorbed by the liner, the less damage to the head, hence the need for best quality high density EPS.

The liner and pads are easily removable and washable.

Micro-metric adjustement buckle

The retention system is the third critical component in a crash helmet. Micro-metric adjustment technology provides the best and safest mechanism for helmet buckles today while allowing riders easy and fast releases.
